About KCCA

Purpose and Cause

  • KCCA is a registered non-profit organization in Nova Scotia (4539111)
  • Directors and members and supporters are a rapidly growing group of informed local residents, volunteers and professionals who are aware of the proposed copper/metals mine atop the Coxheath hills
  • To collect, research and inform the public with referenced and properly researched information relating to the mine proposal in Coxheath

  • Seek the opportunity to have questions answered and provide feedback to government

  • Highlight the need for our sensitive Coxheath ecosystem to be considered a protected area in light discovering the high risk of copper mining in proximity to wildlife, water sources and the community
  • Collaborate with both local organizations and outside experts to consider multiple perspectives
